§ 6-160. Fire code board of appeals.

A fire code board of appeals (FCBOA) shall be established in accordance with NFPA 1, to rule on matters relating to the fire code and its enforcement. The FCBOA members and alternate members shall be appointed by the Sumter County Board of County Commissioners based on experience, knowledge and fields or profession deemed to be competent to sit in judgment on matters concerning fire codes and their enforcement.
