Former § 17-17, relative to the authority of the county to prohibit parking, has been deleted pursuant to the adoption of the Sumter County Parking Ordinance enacted by Ord. No. 90-9 on Aug. 21, 1990 and codified herein as Div. 2, §§ 17-51—17-61. The provisions of former § 17-17 derived from Ord. No. 82-9, § 4, adopted June 15, 1982.
