§ 6-165. Public display of fireworks.

(a)

Any person, firm, partnership, or corporation that intends to present a public display of fireworks within the unincorporated area of the county, as contemplated within F.S. § 791.02, shall apply for and secure a permit for same from the department before purchasing and using such fireworks.

(b)

The application for such permit shall be made at least fifteen (15) days prior to the event and on a form adopted by the department. The application must be accompanied by the following:

(1)

Proof of property ownership where display is to originate, or notarized approval from property owner if property not owned by applicant.

(2)

A site plan showing the location the fireworks display will originate.
